General Terms and Conditions
We warmly welcome you to B&B de Taller-Hoeve and ask you to familiarize yourself with these Terms and Conditions.
1. General
Chantal de Renet is the owner and manager of "de Taller-Hoeve" Grotestraat 289 3631 Maasmechelen-Kotem
The owner can be represented by a family member or an acquaintance if circumstances require it.
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all users of "de Taller-Hoeve" B&B Grotestraat 289 3631 Maasmechelen-Kotem (Belgium).
Upon entering into a lease agreement, these General Terms and Conditions come into effect.
Upon request, a copy of these General Terms and Conditions will be provided free of charge to users.
Tenants must have a fixed place of residence or stay and be at least 21 years of age or older.
The administrator is not liable for damage, loss or theft of the users' property. In case of disputes, all (legal) costs shall be borne by the users.
All risks related to a stay at "de Taller-Hoeve" are at the expense of the users.
Damages and losses of movable and immovable property of the owner must be reported by the users during their stay and compensated to the owner.
Guests are required to follow the instructions of the administrator.
The administrator may deny and/or refuse access to "de Taller-Hoeve" to guests who violate these General Terms and Conditions and engage in inappropriate behavior, without further notice and without providing reasons, and without refunding accommodation costs.
The administration of the administrator is decisive in case of disagreement, unless the users can prove the contrary.
Guests of "de Taller-Hoeve" are required to adhere to the following House Rules.
2. Reservation and confirmation
A rental agreement can (based on availability) be entered into via the reservation module on the website (www.de-tallerhoeve.be) or through other booking channels.
To finalize the reservation, you are asked to
If you book a room more than 14 days before the check-in date, a deposit of 50% is required to reserve the room(s) in your name.
If you book within 14 days of your check-in date, you will be asked to pay 100% of the total amount.
If you have already made a deposit payment, you will be asked to pay the remaining balance. Therefore, your reservation must be 100% paid no later than 14 days BEFORE your check-in date.
All payments are made via the payment button on your reservation page and automatically recorded on your personal reservation document.
If payment is not made within 24 hours, the reservation will be automatically canceled by the system and the room(s) will become available for rent again.
The remaining amount, if any, will be paid no later than 14 days before the check-in date, i.e. when the free cancellation period expires.
The full reservation, excluding extras, must be paid 14 days before the check-in date.
We process payments through "Mollie". This is a secure payment environment. Payment tracking can be done correctly in this way.
The administrative cost of any refund via "Mollie" will be automatically deducted from the refund amount and will be at the expense of the customer.
In the event of a cancellation by "de Taller-Hoeve", this cost will be covered by "de Taller-Hoeve".
On the reservation form on the website, reference is made to these General Terms and Conditions.
3. Payment
All accommodation costs must be paid 14 days before the check-in date via the payment module of "Mollie".
In exceptional cases and only after consultation, deviations from these rules can be made.
The current rates will be displayed when you enter your check-in and check-out dates. This is non-binding.
4. Breakfast
Breakfast is included in the price. Guests are responsible for informing themselves of any allergies, food intolerances or diets.
We try to take special requests into account, but a surcharge of 7.00 euros or more will be charged, depending on the adjustment.
5. Cancellation
We understand that there may always be unforeseen circumstances that prevent you from attending. If this is the case, we kindly ask that you inform us as soon as possible so that we can prepare the invoice for your insurance as quickly as possible.
**In case of cancellation**
* 14 days before the check-in date, you pay 100% of your stay and you must arrange your cancellation through your insurance.
*In case of cancellation 14 days or more before the check-in date, you will not be charged accommodation costs, but there is an administrative fee of €25.00. Consider taking out cancellation insurance with your insurance agent to avoid unpleasant surprises. This cancellation insurance is the full responsibility of the customer.
Changing the reservation to a different date can only be done up to 14 days before the check-in date.
In case of early departure, the accommodation costs are 100% for the customer.
Household regulations
1. Arrival and departure
On the day of arrival, you are cordially welcome at your accommodation between 4:00 PM and 6:30 PM. Arriving later is possibly, but please discuss this first.
Check-out is possible until at the latest 10.30 a.m.
- If you would like a late check-out after 10:30 AM, an additional fee of €15.00 per hour will be charged. This is only possible upon request.
It is not possible to drop off luggage or park bicycles before 4:00 p.m.
For verification, we will ask you to show your passport or identity card. We will make a copy of this, which will be destroyed no later than 7 working days after your departure.
In case of early departure, no refund will take place.
2. Your stay
The use of the rooms of "de Taller-Hoeve" by more people than the stated tenants is not allowed.
We kindly ask you to take care of the inventory and furniture during your stay.
• We kindly ask you to respect other guests by avoiding noise between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
The breakfast room also serves as a relaxation space. The Honesty bar, stocked with a nice selection of drinks at democratic prices, is at the disposal of the guests. Payment for drinks is made at check-out.

3. Safety and Environment
Using the private car park: limited number of spaces
* if you have booked through our own reservation module, you can use the private parking for free. This parking is located on a fully enclosed private plot behind the B&B.
*Reservations made via booking platforms incur a fee of 5.00 euros per night, and must request a reservation in advance. Booking = payment, regardless of whether you use the parking lot or not.
Bringing a pet is unfortunately not possible due to potential allergic reactions of guests who come after you.
All buildings belonging to the B&B, both inside and outside, and related buildings are completely smoke-free.
The bedrooms are suitable for an overnight stay with a maximum of two persons. A cot cannot be added.
